Since 1992, accessible signage has been a requirement in the United States under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  The ADA was developed to help remove barriers for  for people with disabilities.  An ADA compliant sign is required for every permanent room or space in a building. Our Blog will help you understand how ADA compliant signs should be installed.    ADA MOUNTING HEIGHT The baseline of the tactile characters shall be mounted between 48" at the lowest point to 60" at the highest point above the adjacent floor.
